Are you looking for a place within walking distance to downtown Jim Thorpe and all that this historical town has to offer? This home is just four blocks away and has the switchback bike trail in the backyard. The home has 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath and includes a built-in library with books for your reading pleasure and an enclosed porch where you can enjoy the nice breezes. We now have the internet available. The home amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, with all amenities, including a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, and garbage disposal. There is also a washer and dryer, along with cable television, some movie DVDs and an old Sega Saturn gaming system with a few games to bring you back to your childhood. You will have to provide own sheets and towels. There are two queen beds, one double, one twin and one pull-out queen couch (we will supply the sheets for the queen couch and twin bed). Bed pillows are supplied. In case someone forgets a towel, we do have a few available. Mountain biker`s dream! The Switchback Bike Trail is literally in the backyard. Kayaking, rafting and tubing are minutes away. Swimming is just four miles away at Mauch Chunk Reservoir, which has a sandy beach, snack bar and bathroom facility. (Your kids will love it) Glenn Onoko Waterfall is just 8 minutes away. You can also take an hour train ride from downtown Jim Thorpe through the Lehigh Valley Gorge and back into town. You could walk down to the train station or take a two minute ride and park your car. The Old Jail (The Molly Maguires) is just a few blocks away. This home is a place where memories can be made. We hope you will choose to make us your vacation spot! $460 per weekend/$950 per week. Holiday weekend prices vary depending upon the holiday. $200 security deposit is due in order to hold your requested dates. $60 refundable cleaning fee is also requested. Cleaning fee will be refunded as long as home is clean upon departure. This is a non-smoking, non-house party home. Must be at least 25 years of age to rent the house.
